HALLOWEEN THEMED FUN AT CANSKATE

posted Oct 23, 2026, 4:15 PM

Dear CanSkate Families:

Halloween is coming to the ice, and we can’t wait to celebrate with your skaters!

When: Monday, October 26 and Thursday, October 29

Skaters are welcome to come dressed up for class! We’ll be playing games on the ice and finishing with a fun treat, so it’s going to be a spooky good time.

To keep everyone safe and skating happy, please keep these guidelines in mind when choosing a costume:

• Helmets are still mandatory. That means no masks, or face covering of any sort and nothing that covers or obstructs the helmet or keeps it from fitting properly. Feel free to decorate the helmet itself, as long as it stays secure and safe!
• No long or dragging costumes. Anything that trails along the ice is a tripping hazard, so please choose costumes that stay well clear of the skates.
• No costumes with small pieces. Tiny accessories can easily fall off and get lost on the ice, so please skip anything with loose bits.

Dressing up is totally optional. If your skater would rather wear their regular skating gear, that’s absolutely fine too!

Get ready for lots of Halloween fun. We can’t wait to see your costumes!
