We are excited to let you know about the Skate Canada Alberta Section Ice Show that is happening on May 3, 2019 @ 7pm at the Banff Fenlands Recreation Centre.

The Section is celebrating 50 years on ice and is having an ice show featuring Keegan Messing (Senior Men Bronze Medalist) and Section alumni skaters. The ice show is written and directed by our own Jan Ullmark and some of our club skaters will also be in the show! The celebration continues throughout the weekend of May 3-5 in Banff with the Section AGM and Banquet.

Below are details regarding your ice show ticket purchase:

 - To purchase a ticket you must create an account on the Section Uplifter site. Here is the link:

- Tickets are $30 each

- Tickets must be purchased by April 15, 2019.

- Ice Show ticket includes a Meet & Greet after the show with some of our Section Alumni skaters and current national medalists.

Spring Break Registration is now available on our website. The Spring Break session runs from Sunday, March 31 until Thursday, April 18th. 

Skating days are: Sundays 5:00-6:00pm,

                          Mondays, Tuesdays, Wed and Thursdays 3:45-4:45pm. 

These sessions are available to all Junior, Intermediate and Senior Skaters. This ice is also open for drop in from visiting skaters. 

Please sign up online, each day is listed individually. The cost per session is $20.00

There is a discount for multiple sessions - if you sign up for between 7 and 10 sessions, the sessions each cost $17.50. If you sign up for between 11 and 15 sessions, the sessions each cost $15.00. 

We are taking a break after April 18th until just after the May long weekend. I will send out another email regarding skating for the period of Tuesday, May 21-Monday June 24th and an update on Summer skating once our Board meets on March 19, 2019.

Wrap up the CanSkate season in Canmore!

The Canmore Skating Club is excited to announce a CanSkate Fun Skate on Sunday, March 31, 2019 

It is our hope that you, your young developing skaters and their families will be able to join us for a day of skating fun with a view of the beautiful Three Sisters Mountains.

Entry deadline is March 15, 2019.

(We’re going ‘old school’ for the registration process. Please mail/courier entries along with one Club cheque for all your entries to 2 Cougar Court, Canmore, AB T1W 1B3 OR scan all entry forms into one file and send one e-transfer per Club to  Thank you).
