Juggling is an excellent off-ice way to work on balance, coordination, and reaction time. Also it is a great stress reliever and warm-up prior to performing. Skaters are already jugglers, using their bodies as props instead balls, clubs, and sticks, which explains why skating is cross training for juggling, and maybe vice versa. Both require knowing where your body is in space. |
