Marta Pietrasik
Marta Pietrasik is a born and raised Banff local, where she developed her base skills and passion for figure skating with the Banff Skating Club.
Marta was a member of Team Canada's synchronized skating team for 6 years. During this time, she became a 2x National champion, alongside her team, as well as the 2022 World Synchronized Skating Champions.
After retiring from competition herself, Marta has been coaching singles skating (Star 1 - Gold) and synchronized skating teams (Juvenile, Pre-Novice, Novice, Intermediate, Open, Junior, and Adult 1) for 2 seasons.
Marta has a Bachelor degree in Kinesiology, and is currently working on her Masters degree in Psychology.
Her goal as a coach is to share her passion for figure skating with younger skaters by implementing individualized coaching to help each skater achieve their personal goals both on and off the ice. Marta is passionate about developing her students as a whole. She hopes to inspire her skaters to find joy in skating, developing their physical skills, and develop a well-rounded individual.
