Star/Podium Pathway program. For each family member registered in a Canmore Skating Club 2023-24 season program, there are two mandatory fundraising events that all families are required to either participate in or have someone perform for them. The first event is the Banff Christmas Market (November 17 – 19; November 24 – 26 and December 1-3) and the second will be for the Ice Show (show dates are March 23 & 24). Families are required to participate in at least ONE Banff Christmas Market shift and at least ONE task/shift for the Ice Show. Please advise the Board in advance if you are not able to meet these requirements.

The Club will again sell Evergreen Wreaths and Swags along with provide personnel for Melissa’s Road Race and the Banff Marathon to raise additional funds. We hope you will participate in these as well.

Fall CanSkate program. We encourage you to join in on any or all of these fundraising activities. In particular, taking a shift at the Banff Christmas Market which requires a larger overall commitment for the Club to generate the best amount of fundraising dollars. If you are not familiar with the market, it is quite a magical, family-friendly event held at the Warner Stables in Banff. Not only will you be helping to keep our group programming costs sustainable, but it’s also a great chance to meet some of your fellow skaters and their families!
